Cybersecurity Professional Amanda Adams established GSec LLC, believing that solutions should always be simple and never compromise security. GSec’s simplicity, clarity, and transparency in building cost-effective cybersecurity programs for businesses worldwide reflects her passion for security and compliance.
At GSec LLC, we provide specialized consulting in compliance, cybersecurity strategies, and outsourced Facility Security Officer (FSO) services. Our partnerships with organizations within and outside the DoD allow us to deliver military-grade cybersecurity solutions to non-profit agencies, individuals, business owners, and DoD support contractors.
Practicality and honesty are valued more than anything else. GSec's mission is to improve other organizations’ security postures in preparation for assessments, inspections, and daily operations, no matter where they are in the process. The GSec team aids small businesses with security compliance by identifying gaps, creating customized roadmaps, and implementing documentation and recommendations.
Who We Are & Our Origin
As a company specializing in cybersecurity compliance, our logo was chosen to reflect the guidance, protection, and vigilance we provide for our clients. The peacock was partly selected due to its symbolic representation of protection, the triumph of good over evil, and watchfulness. The peacock is unique, unmistakable, and the caretaker of its domain.
Ms. Adams loves peacocks and views them as her spirit animal. Often an amusing topic of discussion, she typically colors her hair in teal, purple, and blue, which strongly emulates the colors of a peacock. As a former enlisted Marine, mother, and business owner, she finds there is certain synchronicity within the duality of the peacock’s protection and grace that represents everything overcome and wear its colors with pride.
Different cultures view peacocks as a harbinger of good news and bearer of knowledge, giving people hope and insight. GSec LLC works to exemplify these ideals by bringing our specialized expertise to our clients with the variety of different services we provide.
With these personal connections and impeccable symbolism, the peacock seemed like the perfect choice for GSec’s logo...even if it is sometimes mistaken for a roadrunner.
